The Heart and Mind

I've really been focused on my psychology as of late.  Why do I think the way I do, what are the major influencers that directly affect, impact, and control my thinking?  I have had an epiphany today that is quite profound.  We know that our minds can and will get bored/frustrated very quickly with redundancy, however, the heart has the power to influence the mind to consider, ponder, and reconsider the same concept(s) over and over against the mind's will.  The heart will make the mind reflect on, even work itself up to the point of unrealistic expectations of something that no longer exists physically.  This is beyond powerful!!!  In my experience, the mind entertains the heart at times even when it knows better.  In short, be careful what you attach your heart to.
